The Durand® was invented by wine collector Mark Taylor, who encountered numerous challenges when opening older vintages from his cellar. Determined to find a solution, he developed a specialized tool that could handle even the most delicate corks with ease. In 2007, Taylor founded Wining Taylors, LLC, based in Atlanta, Georgia, to manufacture and market The Durand®. The device is named in honor of Yves Durand, a world-renowned sommelier and a personal friend and mentor to Taylor. Today, The Durand® is trusted by wine enthusiasts, collectors, and professional sommeliers worldwide

Our goal is to continue to grow our business in ways that will allow us to give more, this will include things like scholarships for local graduating seniors, food programs, and much more!
